Transportation Planner
Job Description
- Responsible in monitoring import and export schedules according to shipment requirements.
- To coordinate and follow up with forwarders/transporters on shipment status.
- Take charge for preparation, control and filing of all shipping documentations.
- To liaise with the related custom departments in compliance to the legislation and regulation.
- To liaise with MITI on CEPT3 and AP applications.
- To liaise with Sales Tax Dept on CJ5 applications, report submission, and procedures for Sales Tax payment.
- To support for any adhoc duties on shipment matters.
- To perform any other duties assigned by the management.
- To check shipping and transportation charges, ensure it follows the quotation.
- To update PO status from customers.
- Prepare Finish good monthly report to superior.
- To obey company’s rules and regulations.
- To assist as Food Safety Team Member.
- To coordinate, arrangement and preparing the shipping documents
- To liaise with shipping liner, forwarding agent, co-loader, operations staffs and customer
- To monitor the shipping activities
- To maintain the filing system
- To manage daily shipping operation
- To assist customers in deliveries and product information
- Evaluate external customers satisfaction, define and implement improvement activities base on these results.
- To handle the delivery arrangement, ensure delivery on time and prepare shipping documents
Qualifications
Diploma in Shipping and Logistic or its equivalents Computer literacy (Excel, Word, etc)
Additional Information
• 4 years’ experience with similar trade.
• With initiative and high responsibilities.
• Good communication skill, result oriented approach.
• Strong analytical skill
• Good knowledge of English and Bahasa or Mandarin in both written and oral. Associate are required to work closely with stakeholders at China.
