Job Description

JDE is looking for a committed Field Sales Assistant / Merchandiser to ensure quality JDE products are always available to be purchased by the shopper at PNS in Silverdale, NZ.

As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for:

  • Merchandising and building displays: Fill shelves and build and fill off location displays to a specified store planogram and layouts as advised by a Field Sales Specialist
  • Store Liaison: Liaising with store staff to ensure adequate stock is always available to merchandise shelves/displays
  • Stock Rotation: All stock is to be rotated and products with low shelf life reported to your manager
  • Store Compliance: Complete compliance checks - products have correct shelf tickets and/or promo tickets and are in correct flow on the shelf

This is an exciting permanent part-time opportunity (+/- 10 hours per week), merchandising for our Retail stores in Silverdale.

For this role as a Field Sales Assistant / Merchandiser at the PAK’nSAVE store in Silverdale. we’re looking for someone who has the following availability and skills:

  • You are available to work approximately 10 hours per week. You will work 3.5 hours on Sunday night (after 10PM) or Monday morning (before 6:30AM), 3.5 hrs on Monday night (after 10PM) or Tuesday morning (before 6:30AM) and 3 hours on Thursday night (after 10PM) or Friday morning (before 6:30AM). The exact number of hours and times to work are flexible to a certain degree. Sometimes you might be requested to work more hours in case of special events such as relays, for which you will of course be compensated. The number of hours might increase over time if we add another store to your responsibilities.
  • You have a driver’s license and a car at your disposal
  • You have NZ working rights
  • You don’t mind the manual handling of boxes with products up to 6kg
  • Ideally you have experience merchandising
